At Balanced People, we provide our amazing members with authentic and accessible tools to look after their mental health and wellbeing. Our unique approach (by this we mean straight talking and humorous), and wide range of resources provide an easy way for you to proactively manage your mental health and wellbeing but mainly, feel better about yourself and life. Our members tell us that we are their go to resource to help them through life’s challenges and discover their own authentic self (that’s a posh way of saying be happy with who you are).
Our tools are easy to use and provide a fun way to practise self-care because you matter.
WE DON’T JUST PROVIDE SUPPORT FOR ANXIETY AND DEPRESSION
We do provide support for anxiety and depression but we are about so much more than that. It’s not just about stopping feeling crap, it’s also about moving forward and growing in to who you want to be and how you want to feel. Our resources are divided into five categories:
- proactively supporting mental health – building and maintaining resilience
- boosting confidence & self-esteem – liking yourself for who you are
- managing anxiety and depression – positive self-help support for the most common mental health issues worldwide
- mindset coaching – helping you develop a positive mindset and work towards your goals
- work-related wellbeing support – providing support for workplace challenges to your mental health and wellbeing
Always accessible, Always confidential.
Our resources can be accessed anytime they are needed and completely confidentially. We only get reports on how many times our resources are used; we don’t know who uses them. If you’ve had a bad day, open the website, pick an applicable resource, watch the video/listen to the podcast and Bob’s your uncle!
It's not just about the resources.
Whilst our resources are there for you whenever you need, our members also get so much more (well a little bit more but it’s good). They get a weekly email reminding them to take time for their mental health that week, discussing relevant topics and resources, a story from Sam (usually hilarious but not guaranteed), a good news and positive social media account worth a follow AND an anonymous Ask Sam advice service.

Get to know Samantha Garner the founder of balanced people
Sam Garner has dedicated her life to helping individuals feel better about themselves. Sam’s frequently heard saying that she can’t make your life perfect, but she can make your life better. She has touched the lives of so many people in this way over the decades (we aren’t allowed to give away her age).
